If you are looking to up-level your business next year, you may be wondering how the hell you actually going to do that. For many, the first step is 1. Raise prices. And yes- awesome. Raising prices as a creative entrepreneur is almost always a good idea- if you are scared shirtless (autocorrect that I’m leaving) to do that, it’s ok. It’s normal to be scared. Do it anyway. 2. Market more! And- yes again, great idea to get the word out.

But then what? What other huge changes can you make to up-level yourselves? Hmmm can’t think of too many other big ones. BUT I can think of 4,000 small changes you could make that would result in a much more profitable 2020. What if you set your alarm and got up 30 minutes earlier and used that time to roughly plan out your day and post to your business Facebook page, Instagram or wrote a blog post? What if instead of mindlessly scrolling Instagram, you sent a dm to a follower thanking them and asking if you could help them in any way? What if instead of *wishing* you could grow your social media following, you set aside 20 minutes a day to engage with other people’s accounts? What if you invested in something to make your client experience better, like a welcome text or video? What if you reached out to those two badass ladies in your area who you follow and created a monthly goal check-in group or a referral circle? What if you committed to sharing session tips and tricks three times a week with your own face in your stories? Or attending one in-person marketing event a quarter?

All of those things are not HUGE changes, but small meaningful ones that add up to a lot. Instead of becoming a whole new person, take baby steps towards better productivity, marketing and artisty.
